I taught, with help from two members of the Bay Area CISM Team, a three-hour disaster psychology/CISM course for the city of Alameda Fire Department’s CERT team. I’ve taught CERT teams before, but this was the longest version so far… and the students responded that it was still too short! My Powerpoint presentation:

Quotes an Oxford University and Sedwick Group study that says there was a 22 percent difference in stock price between companies that responded effectively to catastrophe and not.
